This imagined set of The Glass Menagerie’s scenic design aims to visually represent the themes of overgrown fantasy, division, dysfunction, out-of-touchness, fragility, and alienation. The central structure of a geodesic dome, suspended on stage, will symbolize the fragile, self-contained "bubbles" in which each character resides, emphasizing their isolation and disconnection from reality.
